The FaxPipe system
Our fax system is simple to use. That's because we work with your existing email address.
Everything you need to start sending or receiving faxes with FaxPipe is already in your favorite email program. If you are able to send and receive emails with attachments, then you have the ability to use FaxPipe.
Fax to email
With every FaxPipe account you get a personal fax number. Faxes can be sent to you from anywhere in the world with this number, those faxes are then converted via FaxPipe into an email attachment either .tif or .pdf file and delivered right to your personal email inbox.
Email to fax
When you register for a complete FaxPipe account, you will be able to send faxes from your email. Send an email with attachments to the outbound address we give you, including fax number(s) in the body of the email. Our system will automatically convert your attachments into fax data and send them to the fax number(s).
Sending a fax with FaxPipe can be done in three easy steps.
- 1) Notify FaxPipe that you want to start sending outbound faxes. We will then give you the email address that you will use to send faxes. Put this address in the "to:" portion of your new email message.
- 2) Put the ten digit fax number that you are faxing to in the body of the email. Make sure there is nothing else in the body of the email.
- 3) Attach an appropriate file that you wish to fax and push send.
